Our telephony services at Golden Lane are all run using a service called VoIP (voice-over-internet-protocol) a technology that allows you to use the Internet to make cheap calls but in a traditional way using a handset.
The technology is very similar to making a ‘Facetime’ audio call or calling someone via WhatsApp except rather than using your mobile data and a mobile phone network our telephony system is run using Golden Lane’s purpose built fibre network.
This allows for a much higher quality of sound when you’re making calls and you’re using a traditional handset rather than a mobile phone, which some people are conscious of using too often due to concerns about radiation.
If you use any VoIP service you need to be aware that in the event of an emergency if the electricity supply is cut then you will not be able to use the service to make emergency calls.

Pay As You Go
There is a one off activation fee to set up this service and then you can make as many calls as you like to whoever you like paying only for what you use. You will be advised on the tariffs at sign up or you can contact our Support Team who will email them to you.

Unlimited Evening and Weekend calls to UK Landlines
Exactly what it says on the tin, you pay a monthly subscription for to make unlimited evening and weekend calls to any UK landline number. Any calls to Europe or the rest of the World will be an additional charge. Any calls during the daytime will also be and additional charge.
Please note that premium numbers such as 0800 and 0845 may also be charged as additional calls.
Unlimited Anytime Calls to UK Landlines
Your monthly subscription will cover all calls to UK landline numbers. Any calls abroad will be an additional charge itemised on your bill.
Unlimited Worldwide Calls
This package allows you to make unlimited calls to any number worldwide in selected countries. The following countries are included in this package:
United Kingdom, Ireland, USA, China/Hong Kong, Russia, Australia, Canada, Belgium, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Portugal, Sweden & Switzerland
